Default 08 Work Truck

Hey guys. I have an 08 F250 work truck with the 5.4l Engine. It has 45k miles. The thing is a dog. Seems like you have to lay into the throttle just to get it to move. Is there any way to improve the throttle response? Tuners are out of the question.

Thanks

4.10/4.30 gear. Pricey but the only thing that would make a noticeable difference both accelerating and less searching for right gear when cruising up hills and such. All other little bolt-on mods add very marginal hardly noticeable power. Just my .02.

most with 5.4 come with 3.73. Like I said though gearing is pricey after labor costs as both doffs need to be done. But really it's still more worth it than nickle and diming with a bunch of little stuff that hardly does squat
