Not to mention their warranty specifically says 3 years hundred thousand miles parts and labor. The mechanic that I'm using, whom I have known for years and has a very good reputation around here, specifically said that the two that he has had to replace out of all the years he's been using Jasper has had everything including labor covered.

I'd go with a ford reman or have a local shop rebuild it myself.

I agree, the Ford remans hold up and work the first time around. Can't forget the guy who hired Ford to install a Jasper, it took 3 Jaspers to get one to take. They warrenteed each one, but he had to fight like hell to get them to stand behind their product. You pay good money for a reman, might as well go with a remanufacturer who doesn't have to cut corners for profit.

Not too bad you would be looking at between $3K-$5k, but if im not mistaken ford will only make short and long block remans, They will not do complete engines on these 10th Gens anymore.

No, I just talked to the dealership, they still do complete remans. I'll be taking it hopefully next month and be back in it before the end of the month. I hope anyway, lol. I miss my truck.

thats odd, I work for a Ford Dealership, and my catalog shows complete engines are obsolete, they do sell long blocks but but they're not drop in ready, you still gotta add some of your old parts or newly purchased parts.

Hmm, from what I understand it's a fully reman'd motor ready to go. It's gonna cost almost as much as putting a Jasper reman in, only with a 3 year/unlimited mileage warranty.
