Default Battery van = Fire

This is what happens when your gas/electric van blows up! I know I would never buy one.

I've seen the same outcome with gas only, diesel powered, and others. Your point?

Oh, without any doubt. i would just like a tank of gas just there doing nothing instead of a big battery getting charged. Of the two, the gas would be safer.

That comment reminds me of my great uncle, who resisted having electricity connected to the house until the 1970s. Why?

Electricity is dangerous and starts fires.

The same man thought nothing of walking through a hay barn with a lit kerosene lantern.

Your comment is as nonsensical as my uncle's view of electricity.

Two opinions, yours is yours and mine is mine. We each have one.

One is supported by physics, the other stands on irrational fear of change.
