Wow, 2 people out of millions. Keep grasping to this **** sandwich. Eventually you'll find a few more success stories worth touting.
Personally, I'm now without insurance because I refuse to pay double for less.

He said he was just going to pay for COBRA. It was going to cost him $1,200 a month. I told him to check out Obamacare... He didn't want anything to do with it. He said he didn't really know how it worked or anything about it. I explained to him how Obamacare is just an insurance exchange where all the different companies compete for your business. Well, today I asked him how his insurance shopping was going. He said when he got home after work that day, he called a local insurance agent and inquired about it. Yada, Yada, Yada. (seinfeld) his premium is going from $1,200 (COBRA) to $593.00 a month (Obamacare). Yeah, he's pretty happy about it. He said none of the news channels that he watches ever explained how it worked like the insurance agent did. Yep! you guessed it. Mostly Fox News. He said every night they talked about the horrors of it without actually explaining how it worked. Needless to say, he now has a different opinion. And then, I see this story tonight. Almost exactly the same.... Go figure! http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/...nbc/?tid=sm_fb
I'm sure the five million people who lost policies and have since seen rate increases are thrilled about it.

Obamacare is a failure by Obama's own unit of measure. He wanted to insure people who didn't have insurance. He hasn't done that. In terms of net effect, what he's done is drive up the cost of healthcare for people who already had coverage.

Anyone who pays a full premium, federal income taxes, and soon the Cadillac tax.

The very fact that you have to search long and hard to find 1 success story speaks to the catastrophic failure of this law. The needs of the many should out weigh the few, not the other way around.

Did anyone else notice the two bottles of A&W root beer on his dinner tray? Is that really a wise choice for someone who has had heart surgery? It kinda strikes me as odd. Maybe you get a free Papa Burger with the surgery, I don't know.....

My premiums going up 30% equates to a success story?

I'd hate to see what you'd call a failure.

The reality has always been in my experience that COBRA premiums were heavily inflated to begin with. If you had income and were looking for a plan, you would have likely been able to find better premiums even without this disaster.
