had a 94 explorer last about 290,000 miles. towards the end, it burned enough oil that we just added, but changed the filter about every 10,000 miles. engine and trans were never opened up. cracked a head, new owner swapped it out and kept going. wonder if he ever got that one spark plug in the back out, its the one ford put in there....

semi-local place to tube on the river uses e-series gas vans from the early 2000's to haul drunks and rafts. most have over 400,000 miles.
