You state, "I have seen a couple of classic sites asking anywhere from $12k to $30k for similar." That is absurd but anyone can ask what they want. Doesn't mean anything unless it will sell.
Go to Edmunds, Kelly Blue Book etc. It's an 86 truck, they were plentiful and is not worth much regardless of condition.I doubt a dealer would even take it in on a trade. If the tires are good, I wouldn't pay more than $2500.You likely could get a little more if it were a short bed.
It is in nice shape and I would just keep it and enjoy the fruits of your labor.
