Question Whats a Good Cam.

Does anyone know what a good cam is for a stock 351M roughly 89,000 miles on it? Im just looking for a good daily cam, Something I can drive daily in and still have a fun little mod done.

With The low compression of the 351/400, 8.0:1. The trick is getting a camshaft with a bunch of torque but, have enough duration and overlap to avoid detonation while under a heavy load.

ELGIN has a good one which works #E-1155-P ; Single pattern - 284° off the seat - 208°@.050" - .484" valve lift - 111° seperation; 107° intake centerline. I'd go with the Edelbrock performer/650 Holley with some long tube headers.
