Default What F150 model is this?

This is my 1983 F150. The pictures not very good but the truck has white pinstripes blocked out on every body panel. It came with the white wheels, white top and even a white rollbar in the bed even though it's a 2wd. It also has fiberglass fenders on the bed. I had a '82 stepside that had steel fenders. The only reason I ask is that I've seen two other trucks on old TV shows that are identical to mine except they are blue instead of red. Is this some special edition truck? I'm from NC and in the '80s we had lots of Carolina Special edition vehicles, maybe this is from another state?

I found some info last night. It seems it's called a FreeWheeling package. Hopefully it's not rare because I took all the stripes off, scrapped the rollbar and sold the motor and trans for a big block MT swap.

I've never heard of that package, so I did a little lookin on Google. I found some late 70's pics, but nothing for an '83. Interesting.

I thought it was late '70s only too. I did find this one old brochure ad on Google for a 1981 Free Wheelin package that has the same stripes and wheels.

I had an 85 Bronco with those boxed panel stripes. It also came with a few 4x4 toys like a keyed (locking) hood latch lever, locking glove box, a few other things I can't remember as well as a manual transfer case, posi rear with 4:10 gears, manual hubs and big rads for the trans and engine.
Wasn't the original owner on that, but he said the stripes were part of an off-road package.

Yeah I don't think there was a freewheelin in 83, so either someone tried to custom a job to look like it, or someone bought the Ford striping package and applied it.
