tranny swap. manual to AOD. any advice?
Have a 84 F150 351W with 4x4. I'm kicking the idea around of swapping the manual tranny to a AOD tranny. I can get a C6 tranny, but i'm looking for a AOD tranny and i'm not sure if the C6 has an overdrive or if it's just three speed. Also looking to get a floor shifter to bypass messing with the steering column. So anybody out there know which tranny i should look at, also possibly experienced some complications with the swap in general, thats worth knowing before i tackle this. Thanx dudes!
