Default Swapping Inline 6 for 302 in an 81 F100...

I' m trying to swap the original Inline for a 302 in a 81 F100. I'm having trouble with the mounts, namely the 302 is too narrow for the crossbeam brackets. Also even if it wasn't too narrow it would be sitting way too low in the engine compartment. I can already tell that i'm going to need to move the crossmember for the trans. forward since the 302 is shorter, but what do I need to make the engine sit where I need it to in the engine compartment? If anyone's knows where I need to start with this please let me know, it's very frustrating. Is there a pre-fab mount kit or do I need to build something?

Did the same swap in a '75 F100. Don't recall moving any cross-member, but it has been a lot of dead brain cells ago. Did grab the V8 motor mount brackets out of a junked truck of the same era.

I would think whatever kit you're looking for is available somewhere in the Wonderful Wide World of Internet dot-com shopping.

Recall it to be a pretty non-eventful swap, even for my limited-then high-school age level of mechanical experience.
