Default Swapping From EFI to Carb

Been having some troubles with my '95 half-ton and just want to remove the computer from the operation of the engine, so I'm looking to buy a stock intake manifold for the 300 l6. I don't want to spend eight hundred dollars on an Offenhauser and 4bbl carb to essentially be a bandaid before my eventual swap. Stock 2bbl manifold is just fine for me

Well you can do it. Find a donor truck. You'll need the intake, carb and distributor

This is like swapping to solid rubber tires because you have a flat. Or swapping to an outhouse because you have a plumbing leak. Or swapping to a muzzleloader because of a misfire.

How's your swap coming? I'm about to do the same with a 92' 5.0 and have been researching the procedure. There is two ways, use existing fuel lines and add a electric fuel pump, preferably the Holley Blue with fuel regulator. Also will need an intake, carburetor, electronic distributor, and rework the linkages and fuel rail to Holley FP. There is probably more, that's just what I've read. Or, you can use a mechanical fuel pump, you just need the timing cover with fuel pump access, and add a eccentric ring to the end of cam gear.
