Default 78 302 carb question

I have a 78 f100 with a 302 stock carb but my truck feels sluggish off the line and I've replaced pretty much the whole ignition and its got a brand new edelbrock air cleaner on it and I can't figure out why it's being sluggish any suggestions??

a carb rebuild is generally VERY easy. the tuning takes a little patience. I did it on my 351's 4barrel holley though, and I know jack squat about automotive carbs. just bikes.

so that says you shouldnt have ANY problem doing it.
