Default No Stickies for this forum? New owner questions, please

Hi All,

I just picked up a sweet '86 5.0/AT/4x4 long bed, dual tanks, 120k original, 1 owner!!! No, really.

I haven't had much time to comb through it and wanted to come here to look for known issues and upgrades. I am surprised to not see any stickies with this kind of info. Am I missing it?

The first thing I see that needs attention are the badly cracked bushings. Is there a RSB upgrade for this truck, or is the OEM pretty stout?

How are the brakes, etc? Any quick mods for the engine? Best exhaust (muff is cracked and I live outside of DEQ, so as long as I'm replacing that, headers to pipe would be great)?

Just wanted ask before I throw money at the original parts.

Thank you in advance!!

Just followed that thread and brushed up on the importance of proper grounding. I'm sure this will help me get my loaded 83 F150 right again.

Thanks.
