I was wondering what the diffrence would be if I put headers on my truck or just plain old manifolds would there be an improvement ??

yes i beleive they are but i was going to buy a set of straigt chrome header or stanless the ones taht came with the truck are big and bulky and the ones i was looking at have smaller outlets

Headers will make it "breathe" easier, reducing back pressure. This usually results in added horsepower and maybe a slight noticeable mileage increase.

dude i have the same engine u have and i put headers on mine if i were u i would get a ste of headmen long headers but if u do that ull have to get a new y pipe built but i did it and there was a big difference in power and gas millege also if u do get them u should get the good gaskets i would recoment a set of mr gasket cooper gaskets the work the best u dont want any leaks
