You could remove your air intake and tape off your Throttle Body Air Inlets. Then remove the vacuum line to the brake unit and blow some cigar smoke into the line and watch for smoke around your engine.
You could remove all the vacuum lines from the vacuum tree on the intake. Run new temporary vacuum lines from the MAP Sensor & the Fuel Pressure Regulator to 2 of the ports on the vacuum tree. Place vacuum caps on the remaining 4 ports. See if this makes any difference.

now right turn signal wont work. with headlights on, hazards blink slowly (flash normal when lights are off). taillights flash dim.
ive known since i bought this truck that she needed wiring done and im a total greenhorn in all aspects truck/car. previous owner did some customizations such as aftermarket stereo, and the hotwire to that isnt even connected. he replaced one headlight which i only know because i can read "sylvania" branding on the one. under the hood, wires are all sorts of clustered. brittle or exposed wires, excessive use of tape and such other nastiness. i really want to get this girl down to the skeleton and replace every single wire, but in the meantime does anyone agree that i should just replace the flasher?
