1951 Ford F2, Flathead V8, 4-Speed
This 51 was parked in a barn in 1979 after failing the IL DOT Inspection on 5/10/79. After sitting for 36 years the owners delivered it to a restoration shop in Indiana where it would sit for another two years waiting on funding for the restoration. I purchased the truck just over a year ago because it is an absolute time capsule and I couldn’t stand to see sitting for another decade. Now I'm trying to decide if I want to jump in on a restoration or not--two others in the hopper so I'm still pondering what to do with this beauty. Attached are several pictures to include the inspection report; some of the print has faded away over the last four decades but it’s in good shape otherwise.

85 F150 2wd 302 EFI. Leaks all fluids (literally all fluids), trans sticks between all gears (between 1st and 2nd is the worst the others are hardly noticeable unless you know the truck), windshield is cracked, tail gate is nearly rusted through at the bottom, only the front tank is usable due to an inoperable selector under the truck. So I've got some work to do. I got this truck from my uncle, for free, who got it from my grandfather when he passed. We just call him Frank, after my grandfather. He's loaded up now for a trip to haul some junk off.
