Kid has good taste
I helped my son buy this '77 F350 Custom flatbed as his first truck. He wanted a classic truck, something distinctive, and something that could be used for work. This 390-powered 4-speed dualie checks off all the boxes.
The previous owner had gone through this truck and fixed all the usual offenders. It runs like a top and stops well, thanks to a laundry list of new parts we didn't have to fool with tracking down and installing.

Thanks, wish it was a shortbed 150 rather than a shortbed F350. None the less, at least i have a near cherry '78 to start with.
This is a pic 1/4/17 just B4 i started the frame off, mostly to access nd replace all hard lines, check wires nd paint frame, its been fun i must say.
I'm thinking of using my headliner and tracing outline on a piece of FRP (fiberglass reinforced product) from the Depot, then laminating a foam backed material to it, the interior noise is a bit much. Just received some sound deadning material for the underside of roof and rear cab panel, will be putting deadner on doors carpeting and a fabric seat from a 96' XLT and that should do the trick... i hope.
Plan on having it ready for paint by end of April.

I ordered a new headliner from Jeffs Bronco Graveyard, the "cheap" one. I glued some foam rubber and vinyl I purchased at Joanne fabric to it and ............
That was this evenings project.
