My dad had one very similar to that in high school, same color and wheels even. But it was a 351 4x4, always thought it was a sharp truck

How does it sound with the turn downs? Do you get any fuel smell in the cab at red lights. Good looking truck btw.

I drove it a day before I put the turn downs on, because I just cut my exhaust back to the axle a day before I put on the turn downs, and honestly i think it sounds better and louder with them. Especially at low RPMs, I could tell a huge difference. I haven't been able to smell any gas or fumes at red lights thus far. Been very satisfied adding them though. All around extremely happy I cut my exhaust back and put turn downs on. Also I felt like it eloped idling. Don't know why but only thing I can think of is the computer liked how much faster the fumes were getting out. And thanks by the way!

Ah. I couldn't remember if 78 had round headlights or not. I knew that's when they were going to the square surround with the headlights. I'm a fan of the rounded headlight mid 70's Fords. I've had 2 of them, one a 75 w/ 390 and the other was a 73 flatbed w/ 79 302HO out of a car. I'm trying to find one again, but people keep crushing them. lol. Someday I will have one again to take my kids out in.
