help with transmission
i have 84 ford f150 302 automatic,I would like to know if a C6(17 bolt pattern on transmission pan) tranny will fit in the truck i have without having to do to much work. the transmission i have in there i have no idea what it is or where to find the id tag on it(has 14 bolts on transmission pan)

i answered my own question, i hane an aod tranny which i can get rebuilt 2 make it better , but the article(http://ww.ford-trucks.com/article/id...ters_guide.htm said 2to stay away from pree 88 models. i just wonder if an 88 will bolt up now
