Fuel Tank Selector Valve

Vinny,
Also, I'm showing different colors for the different tanks. The picture below is from my Haynes manual. It says the Br/W and Y/Lt Bl go to the rear tank and the Red and Dk Bl/Y go to the front tank. Those are mixed from the diagram you shared with me. Any idea which is correct?

My drawing matches your old connector.....

What date Haynes manual & what page # ?

Your drawing does not have a Selector Valve....

Thanks for your help, but after searching all day I finally found a drawing with these actual color of wires. It came off of a 1985 E150 van. They use different color wires than the F150. I have it wired up and appears to be working.

Good deal, they used this valve on the Diesel trucks as well.

Have you considered a manual brass tank selector valve. I replaced my selector valve that is on the drivers side rail with a brass tank selector valve. One small hole in the cab beside the seat. I think I paid 25 buck for it on ebay. My dash gauge and the dash tank selector switch still show how much fuel I have in each tank.
