Default fuel injectors...EV1 to EV6

Hello,
I have a '86 F150 302 FI 2wd with AOD. I recently noticed that the fuel pressure would not hold pressure when the truck was not running. I know that it's supposed to hold pressure for a short period during key on engine off (KOEO) and after being shut down. I had a spare fuel pressure regulator lying around so I tried switching it out, which did not help. So I thought I should check for a stuck injector. While pulling the injectors I noticed that a couple had broken hats. So...... I happened to have a set of Bosch injectors from a 4.6L swap on my '03 Mountaineer. The newer injectors are 21lb. and have EV6 connectors while the '86 injectors are 19lb and have EV1 connectors. I ordered some EV1 to EV6 adapters from Ebay and gave it a try.

I did the easy side last night. The truck fired up and idled ok. It still isn't holding fuel pressure. I will report back when I finish the passenger side.

BTW, while researching for compatibility, I checked resistance.

The original injector = 12.6 Ohms

The newer injector = 12.1 Ohms

So what is the pressure after 60 seconds?

My shop manual specs say... after key off you should have 40 + or -5 PSI for 60 seconds or longer.

The pressure is 0 psi as soon as the motor is cut off.
