Default fuel help?

My 86 F150 302 FI idles fine but going up hill or getting on it, it stalls out or sputters. This is a new prob. It did sit for months but has been driven for the last month with no probs. The fuel pump is new and shiney. When it stalls it starts right back up. Do these old trucks have fuel sensors? To me I think this might be dirty injectors but it idles sweet. I am thinking injector cleaner first. Any thoughts or help would be appreciated. thanks

Fuel filter. Drain the tank and put in fresh fuel. Add some Seafoam. Check the wiring, make sure there is no rodent damage.

well the fuel filter is shiney NOT the fuel pump but it is working (the fuel pump) I can hear it, and smell fuel right after it stalls. No rodent damage that I can see and I looked HARD. Just took it for a short ride and it did fine. Does anyone recommend a good fuel injector cleaner? What is the seafoam deal? I am thinking that before I go buy a fuel pump or fuel pump relay, if it has one, I should make sure the injectors are clean. Any thoughts?

Seafom is great. You put it in the carb or the Brake booster line while the motor is running and then after putting part of the can in you let the truck sit for 20 mins. and then start it agian and drive it around fow a few minutes until the motor quits putting smoke out.
