no. The 83-88 Fox body bird had a 2.3 SOHC 4 cylinder with a turbo...same as the 84-86 SVO mustang. From 89-95, the Thunderbird SC had a blown 3.8L V6 with an Eaton M90 with an air to air intercooler and a 5spd option.

i thought this thread was about the Ford 360 engine......did i miss something or has this thread been hijacked.....who cares about a 4 cylinder turbo bird? the SC coupe now, that's a different story but still off topic!

If you really want to know the engine size, there is a casting number behind the starter (you will have to pull the starter).
