Default Dual gas or single f 150 1982

[IMG] [/IMG]

Hi guys, I have a doubt, I recently bought a F 150 1982 which changed the bed or box for one of the model 90, my doubt is that I believe that the factory came with a dual tank, but the current box is a single tank , My question is have some identification in the serial or the VIN that indicates if it was really dual or simple ?, is that for my work I need more autonomy but I do not want to do something illegal

What size is the tank? Front or rear?
Likely it was dual tanks as one 16 or 19 gallon tank gets you less than 200 miles.
There is an aftermarket 38 gallon rear tank but you have to move the spare tire someplace else.

There is no detailed information in the VIN. Only engine size and type, body style and a few other things.
