In dash tank selector switch
How hard is it to remove the in dash electric tank selector switch? It doesn’t seem easy. It’s a 1986 F150. Front tank pump and gauge work, nothing on rear..Thought I would test switch first.

Real easy
On some you need to pull the stalk out of the headlight switch to remove the little panel that holds the switch
The newer ones, the panel just pulls off and the headlight switch **** isn't in the way

On the older ones where you need to remove the headlight switch ****, you just reach up in there and push the little spring loaded steel pin, and that releases the shaft
The ones that are on the right side, the whole cluster bezel just pulls off
