Two fifty??? If u have a 5.0 you can get a cold air intake for way less online if u look around or make your own with a pipe bender and filter

My brother bought a universal one for his 350 camaro for I wanna say for like 80bux and all he had to to was put the pipes together he just snapped them into.place and tightened them up put his air filter on and it worked pretty good.....fast sob

The carbed 300 comes stock with a true cold air intake. A pipe goes from the air filter to the front next to the headlight. This means when the truck is moving, air is forced up the pipe to the carb. Imo better than most k&n's which get air from under the hood. Air under the hood is hot. Outside air is "cold". The only problem is the stock one looks like ductwork out of somebody's basement.
