Default Broke Fuel Line Fitting

I broke the primary fuel line fitting on my '86 F150. It's the fitting attached to the sending unit on my gas tank. Can that fitting be replaced? I can't find a source for a replacement fuel line. I put a rubber line on it with hose clamps on it for now, but I'm not sure if I can trust it, since it runs 65psi.

Ok, I might have this backwards. Someone told me that the in tank pump is low pressure, and the in line pump is high pressure. If so, then the rubber line should be okay to run for a while.

Last I checked you can get repair kits to splice in new fuel line connectors from auto-parts stores.

I replaced the useless DFR tank switcher with an electric switching valve. The new valve did not have the Ford connections so I replaced all the nylon tubing from the HP pump back to the tanks with rubber fuel line and hose clamps.

The tank pumps run at low pressure up to the HP pump.

No problem with sticking with the rubber lines in that area, but keep a close eye on them and replace them often enough. Fuel leaks aren't cool.
