Default Brakes!!! Truck wont stop

I have a 1983 xlt and it wont stop o have changed the brake pads and shoes, the master cylinder and the brake booster, and then bleed the brakes starting from the farthest to the closest to the mc when the truck is off the brake is almost impossible to press and the truck wont roll in netural but when I start it up all the pressure is gone and the truck will roll any ideas maybe something I missed would be great

Did it stop before you worked on it? Give some history. Your post is pretty rambly. Add some periods and commas to it also. Pretend that you're someone else trying to understand what you mean.

Sorry. I bought the truck a few days ago, and drove it home by standing on the brake. One of my friends said I should change the brake booster so I replaced it and the master cylinder. There was no change after replacing them when the truck is on there are no brakes I have to stand on it just to slow it down. Once I shut off the engine all the pressure comes and pushes the brake pedal back

Can you see what the pads do when you press the brake pedal? Take the wheels off and see what the brake system is doing. Pads should be moving inward, not much, but visibly.

The pedal coming back up is probably just the system losing the assistance from the booster. It means the booster is working. But the pads and shoes aren't. Maybe somebody got some silicone on the rotors. You didn't mention new rotors or cleaning the rotors. If they got oil or brake fluid on them you won't get friction. It's all about friction.

I know when I replaced the shoes on the driver side rear the axle seal had gone bad and there was brake grease all over everything the drum the shoes the wheel everything! Could one brake slipping cause the whole truck to not be able to stop?

No, that would just cause it to pull to one side. And if it was an axle seal it wouldn't be "brake grease", it would be differential fluid. Did you replace the seal?

You can tell if a rotor is oiled just by running a clean finger on it. It shouldn't feel slippery at all, you should be able to tell that it's clean by feel.

Might be that your calipers are screwed up. Watch the pads move while somebody presses the pedal.

Maybe the slides are wore out on the rotors. Maybe the shoes on back are glazed. Maybe you have a twist in the lines blocking the pressure to the caliper. Maybey the lines are switched on the master cylinder.
Start at the master cylinder make sure each individual line. Work down to the the calipers back to the drums.

Thank you that actually helps a lot I was at a total loss of what could be causing it, but with it being that old I wouldnt be surprised if one if the lines was bonded up. Here's the big question though where is most of the stopping force is it supposed to be mainly in the front or equal. The back brakes pull fluid out of the small compartment on the master.

Should be more front breaks then back breaks with the disc and drums. The master cylinder should be divided like a 40/60 split mine has thr bigger side for the front..
