Which beds will work on a 1986 f150?
I need a truck bed for my 1986 f150 302 efi. It is a short bed and has dual tanks. I was wanting to know what beds will work? Thanks for the input.

Actually 80-96 beds will fit. But the 87-96 beds will have a flare out lip on the rear fenderwell where the 80-86 beds flare slightly in. If you go with a 87-96 use that tail gate. The opening is about 1/2" narrower on the newer ones.
If you wanted to you could change the core support and attach the entire front end of a 87-96 truck. Seats will fit too. Since you have a small block you could swap in a zf 5spd from a newer one too if you have a stick.
