Default Arcing coil

So the engine is all back together and I was tuning the carb and started hearing a snapping sound every so often. Finally figured out it was the coil. The positive side of the coil arcs. Any ideas on what would cause this? I can't tell what exactly it's arcing to, it's just a small little flash that happens at the terminal. Poor engine grounding maybe or is it just time to replace the coil?

Are the electrical connections to the coil snug/tight?

Thinking of the possibility of insulation breakdown inside the coil, where the discharge is bleeding back into the primary side.

There are checks that can be done with an ohmmeter, but these may not reveal anything due to the low source voltage of the ohmmeter versus the coil discharge voltage.

They seem to be, I tried pushing both wires in just to see if maybe one was lose and they have no movement to them. No wire is exposed near the connections either.
