86 ford help
my 86 300 6, the gas gauge dosnt work any more it use to when i bought it a year ago and it stopped a week later it is on e, also shes sucking fuel bad i get 8 miles to the gallon. please help and i also want to rebuild the carb any diagrams plz and thankyou

The fuel gauge issue is probably the sending unit in the tank.
If the gas mileage is that bad, it's most likely running richer than heck, a Chilton's (haynes, or other manual) would be a good investment. They normally have carb rebuild instructions in them, as well as the instructions to adjust the idle and mix on the carb.
