Question 86 F-150 Help

Hey guys and gals! Brand new to the forum and I just picked up this truck today.

So I've got a TON of questions, obviously, as a new owner of an old truck - but I'll start with some (hopefully) basic ones about the carb. Maybe someone can take a look at the pics below and tell me what is supposed to be where I've circled in red.

1. The carb. Stock or not?

2. What's missing here?

3. And here...?

4. And also here...?

5. And, finally, a BONUS question. What the heck is that U-shaped hosed on the air cleaner top? It's not attached to anything inside...

The truck runs fairly good. I drove it about 25 miles home today and no overheating or sputtering. It did have a sort of gas-rich smell when I parked it but that could be normal on these for all I know.

Thanks in advance for all your knowledge!

1. Yes

2 & 3: Choke heat tube

4: study the vacuum map on the VECI label, which is usually near the hood latch. Post good pics of it.

5 & bonus: Thermal Vacuum Valve (TVV) for the heat riser valve in the fresh-air snout; the U-hose is being used to plug the nipples (probably not necessary)

Thanks! That is so helpful! I'll see if that vacuum diagram is still on there when I get home. I don't remember seeing one there, though.

I'm guessing this is the vacuum diagram? Looks like an emissions diagram to me... Please forgive my ignorance.

Looks like someone left the hood open facing the sun for quite a while. I'd pull that image into MSPaint (or some other basic image editor), reduce the colors (like to a 16-color BitMaP), and clean it up so it's easier to read. Also, take some overhead pics of the engine so you can find each of those components & lines. The map is laid out essentially like the engine bay - note where it says FRONT OF VEHICLE.
