Default 78' 400 Intake Question

Hey guys, I'm new here, excited to learn lots of new things. My first question, I have a 1978 F150 withe the 400 in it, I was wondering if anyone has pictures of how to or knows which vacuum lines I can get rid of to open up the air intake away from the stock one? I've looked and cant seem to find anything about it.

If you've got all the correct vac lines and the truck runs fine, I'd leave it alone. No one here is going to have the answer for you anyway. The vac setups changed every year and engine. Too many combinations. Diagrams are mostly junk but can be found on google. I started with a somewhat butchered system and had to fight my way through it.

If you decide to start hacking through the lines anyhow, leave the EGR system alone. A few of the uneducated will tell you that you should rip everything out, I'd leave that portion alone at the very least.
