76 300i6 starts and dies
 

I got a 1976 F150 with a 300 I got it not running and I put a rebuilt carb on and new fump. It will start then die and there is gas leaking onto the manifold right where the carb bolts to it. I'm not to good at carbs can anyone help??

Have you looked at your fuel filter lately..?

Everything on the fuel system is new. New pump, filter, lines, and carb

Check the fuel line at the carb... Make sure it is tight and did you put teflon tape on the threads?

Turned out to be the igntion switch. It would send voltage in the start position but not the run position. That's why it would start then die. But I do got another question down on the intake manifold there is to holes that are threaded what is spouse to go there? Found some plugs to stick in them so I could start it without a vacuum leak
