Default 57 F100 w/4x4 Napco

I've got a buddy who has one of these and would love to find out if anyone else knows anything about these? It was a 57 F100 custom cab, converted by Napco and finished 2-11-58. This truck has a YF V8, rated at 145hp at 4100rpms.

I tried to find out what info I could, but even my old Ford books have little on this truck. I have found that Napco did few 57's but a number of 58's. The latest I've found was a 61 3/4 ton with that set up.

I have a serial of F10K7R15083. It was made by Lambert Co. LTD, LA, California. Work order #12193. Came with 3 spd transmission and 370 ratio gearing. It is the styleside version. All number match with the exception of the motor. It has been replaced with a T-bird YF replacement engine, so I believe that it is the 160hp version (or what I found for that year). Truck is in great condition for 60 model years old. It has on dent on the left side of the cab top, where a small tree found it's mark, but otherwise, it is fairly rust free and straight.

Any info on this would be super. I help on the 1997-03 section all the time, but it is my time to request some help if anyone is up on these trucks. Any known value would be also appreciated. Thanks.

Not related to ford but I have a 1960 Studebaker with the NAPCO conversion. Truck was originally govt owned and used at the Marine Air Station Yuma AZ and sold at surplus auction. The NAPCO conversion is very robust and survived 56 years and 3 engines.
