Hello all,
I am new here and am hoping that you can help me.
I am looking for what my towing capabilities are with my truck.
1987 Ford F150

It can tow more than you can tow with it.
Never start out pushing the max - learn SLOWLY what the truck can handle, and what YOU can handle with that truck. It should take you years (if not decades) to approach the max, because the truck will require MANY repairs & MUCH maintenance due to its age. If you need to tow heavy right now, rent something MUCH bigger than necessary for the load you expect to haul so that there's no chance it will surprise you.
