Default 1984 Ford F150 XLT

I own a 1984 Ford F150 XLT 5.0 engine automatic transmission. I have had this truck for over a decade now. Its has been in the hands of many mechanics. But I still insists on trying to keep it going. OK so now the problem. Once it reaches just above 160 degrees it will not start up when I shut it off. Let me just list a few things that have recently been replaced. New.. Starter Celluloid, new alternator, new electric fuel pump, new coil, new ignition module, old steering column from junk yard, carb. rebuild. At first thought it might be the coil or ignition module but when I put the new coil on did not help. Then went and got another ignition module and hooked it up well, no help. So I took it back and got my money back. I am at my end here. I have no idea what the problem is. Anyone have an idea what might be the problem?

What does it do when you try to start it? Does the engine crank? Is it getting spark?

Had that problem with my old 80 F150. It was the voltage regulator bolted on the fender near the starter solenoid. You didn't mention that in your original post. When it was hot outside and the engine got warmed up it would cut power to the starter. if yours turns over then you have something else going on.

as Nimrod88 asked. Does it turn over? Is it getting spark.

Its does have trouble turning over when warm. The starter sounds like it may not being getting the power it needs to start the truck. I didn't even think about the voltage regulator that is one of the few things I have not replaced yet!

In your picture I can see the solenoid by the battery but no regulator. Where is yours located? Perhaps simply moving it to a cooler location could help

Yep, worth a shot. You've already done pretty much everything else. Or battery but that you can get tested easy enough.
