Default 1983 F-150 2wd 5.0 Autolite 2150 2bbl carb Accelerator Pump Link Rod

I have a 1983 F-150 5.0 2wd with the Autolite/Motorcraft 2150 2bbl carb (E3TE-9150-AVA) and need to fix the accelerator pump rod. The OEM plastic rod end (clevis) broke and I can't seem to find just that part. An idea is to go with the old style "double 90" rod as used on the 2100 and possibly some 2150's from '59 til maybe '81.
The carb specialists have 4 1/2" and 5" rods of the old style which use clips to secure them to the throttle arm. My problem is determining the exact length as the throttle arm has 4 holes and the old plastic clip broke before I could see exactly how long the linkage was. I have a good carb kit that specifies the top hole "D" for maximum acc pump travel and the original rod was set to the next position down on the arm, "C". The carb is OEM and has never been touched and the pump rod measures 4 1/2".
Another idea was to use a rod end for R/C model cars which comes tapped to 3mm and simply re-tap it to match the 8-32 threads on the existing 1/8" rod.
I've been to the yards and they don't even know what a carb is anymore.
Thanks in advance for any insight.

I was thinking RC airplane/helicopter parts. They're available in many sizes for the various scales of the aircraft.

Thanks Steve83, you're thinking like me. All of those are too small, 2-56 or 4-40. 3mm would probably re-thread to 8-32 and they probably have it in 8-32 for the big birds but I have yet to find it. My biggest prob is getting the total length correct as the original disintegrated and vanished. Not really sure how critical it is until I rebuild the carb. 11 mpg right now and thta's expensive to run nowadays!

That's just one more reason I swapped a complete EFI engine into mine.
