1980 f150 build
Hey guys i am looking to put a new intake manifold and carb on my 1980 f150 and have been looking at a gew edelbrock intake manifolds and most of them say no in the egr section what does this mean and do i need one that can use an egr
Hopes this helps
I have a new eldebrock air gap intake and a 750 carb with electric choke for 351w ford still in box I would sell for 75% of current summit racing listed price, also have a used eldebrock performer intake for $125 if you are interested
My question is....why are you looking to replace the intake? Is there damage? A stock 351 Windsor can run without EGR. I would think twice about a 750 CFM carb on a stock engine. You would be dumping fuel into stock engine internals that are NOT set up to process it, and as far as the choke goes, you can run stock or manual and it shouldn't make any difference. Intake changes as well as carb changes will not change anything unless what they are bolted to can accept those changes (camshaft, valve train, timing chain/gears, distributor curve, etc.)
