1978 f150 Ranger Fuel issues!

I just bought a 1978 F150 Ranger 4x4 with a 400 engine and Holley 4412-3 2brl carb. It seem to have a fuel issue going on. I can pour gas into the carb and it'll start right up but it doesn't last. Apparently the guy replaced the fuel pump a month ago. Any suggestions in where to start wuth this?

Thanks,

Brad

Maybe a plugged fuel filter, Fuel pump installed incorrectly, carb float not set correctly, needle valve stuck closed, Plugged fuel pickup in the tank, blocked fuel line... Hope this gives you some ideas.
