Congrats to you!
How lucky are you to have a/c and tilt wheel not to mention the exterior chrome.
As far as the back glass, i used a utility knife n cut the rubber especially if you are saving glass.
I'm currently finishing my 78' F350 and have experienced your same issues, i had to remove and repair/weld the cab to frame mounts. Be sure th follow install instructions for the cab n rad mount bushings and "DON'T" throw anything away without checking for replacements 1st. R*** A*** has fair pricesnd things that others do not... prices vary immensely, particularly on weather stripping n gaskets to name a couple.
keep us posted. Clicking on my header "may" bring up my pics so far, I'm in the final stages n plan on driving it as soon as the snow is gone.
Here is a pic B4 i started the restore, overall it was in good shape, mostly frame perches, brake lines n bushings were worn out...minimal rust 👍, i bought it in 1982 n have never driven it in winter, 351M stroked to 400 n 4 speed.
I'll make an album of my restore and post it soon. Keep up the good work!

Jan. 2017 just B4 frame off.

Thanks man! Your truck looks great!
I ended up using a razor blade to get the front windshield out, I still haven't messed with the back glass yet. Sadly I wont be using a/c for a little bit, I'm hoping to upgrade to a whole new system that takes up a little less room under the hood and works a little better.

Also my tilt wheel is for an auto, I have two of them but now I'm switching over to a standard. They're a little more difficult to find and quite pricey. Not sure what I'm gonna do there yet..

I've definitely done a ton of shopping around, prices do seem to vary a lot but so far I've used summit and Bronco graveyard the most. I still haven't finished welding up my floorboards but ive been piddling with my engine some. It got cleaned up and painted with por-15's engine enamel. Ordered in an adjustable push rod because during tear down of my engine I noticed the rockers were riding the very bottom portion of the valve stems. I should of known to measure for new ones once I built the engine because of the head work and bigger cam but I never did. It's got 2.19int and 1.66exh valves so she will definitely breathe well.

Been quite busy the last couple weeks but hope to get things rolling again on the truck here pretty soon. Got a lot of stuff to buy still, wheels,tires,efi,a/c itself will be a pretty penny. Maybe I can talk the ole' lady into getting a second job lol.
