Default X Plan Member Codes

Hi everyone-

Looking to make some connections here and see if anyone has insight on securing a X-Plan ford F-150 discount pin. I am going between a couple options for new trucks and am trying to get the best price possible, especially as a post-college grad (2+ years, I dont qualify for the Ford discount :/) and new homeowner $$$.... I currently own a Chevy that is on its last hoorah and broke down on me again (not going to fix it). I am switching sides to Ford and heard about the X-Plan discount. Anyone have insight? I know that you can buy stock, sign up for clubs, etc, but I do not want to do that and wait for cards or other items to arrive in the mail. Thanks!

You now need to wait 90 days after joining a club or organization (stock is 6 months) to use X-Plan. Of course if you work for a company that is a participant, you're all set.

You're not going to find anyone on a forum giving one of their X-Plan pins to someone who just joined the forum, if at all. The only people with pins to give out are Ford employees or retirees.

I joined the experimental aircraft association and went to use xplan a few days later. The dealer never asked how long I had been a member and I got the discount no problem.

That is awesome!! Thank you!! I just signed up and got the pin. So did the dealer ask for a member card or any proof that you were in? Anything like an email or account login info? Thank you again!

I brought a printed out member card but they never asked to see it. I went in to the situation expecting to get shot down at some point but it never happened.

I finalized my purchase yesterday. I didn’t need to show any XPlan pins until then. Which was over 90 days from ordering
