Default What is this part, and where did it come from?

I found this lying loose on top of my (2024 F-150) engine. It's soft foam and is a little over a foot long. Would like to know what it is and where it came from. Thanks.

(I'm new here, so if this would be better posted on a different one of the forums, please let me know. Thank you.)

You got me.....I might look for a similar part with a L on it. Just in case they are right and left sides. Not alot of soft foam under the hood of any car. If you have an engine cover, remove it and see if it fitted under there.

A Google image search says it's a Hyundai Elantra rear bumper retainer bracket. I'm not sure whether to believe that, but if so I guess it means some rodent carried it in there...?!

To me it looks like the foam that covers the injector rail to help quiet them down.

Thanks everyone. I got it back in place, ordered a replacement, and also ordered replacement rodent repellent, since the old one is obviously not working.
