So I'll pick up my new truck today or Tomorrow, being looking at different accessories and could anyone with husky mud guard let me know how far does it extends from the fender? they just seem a bit too short, I had husky on my ram truck and had great experience with them, they are much longer (8" from fender) which actually stops splash. Looking at different videos, I think husky made it short because there isn't enought screws to hold it when mud or snow starts to build up. ford oem ones are longer because there is an extra bracket and 2 retainer clips towards the top.
anyway that's my theory and I just want to know am I the only one that felt husky ones are too short?

I originally bought the Husky guards but ended up taking them off and went with the weathertechs. Husky were too short and seemed like a flimsy install with the small metal clip. Weathertech are much longer and are definitely sturdier.
