Default Reverse Brake Assist

Is anyone having any problems with this feature? Mine recently stopped working and I get an alert each time I shift to reverse. I've turned the feature off and still get the annoying message each time. Thoughts anyone?

Mine gives the error if one of the rear doors is not completely shut. The rears are hard to close on my truck.

Sensors are definitely not dirty. No, it isn't rollback assist. It provides emergency braking if needed.

My garage is 19x22 so needless to say its a tight fit to get my crew 5'6" box and a full size suv inside. I was reversing the other day and the brake assist kicked in and scared the **** out of me lol.
I was not about to hit anything at all, just the system didnt like how I was parking.

I've had similar issues. I have it disabled but I still get the annoying message each reverse cycle.

I saw this literally the night i drove my truck home from the lot. I swiped all the sensors with a baby wipe and it was good for several days. I saw the message again, and wiped down all the sensors with a baby wipe.

Haven't had any issues since the second wipe.

I think it's dirty sensors.

Well I tried a thorough cleaning. Absolutely no change. I'm stumped. All I remember is one day it braked hard as if it saw something. Soon afterwards it showed unavailable. I've referenced the owner's manual but no answers there either.
