Replacement badges finally showed up... sort of.
Got a notification from Ford that the replacement badges for my truck finally arrived at the dealer. Strangely enough, they gave me both Powerboost door badges which weren't missing from my truck.
The problem is that the box containing the fender badges that was supposed to have both badges in it only has the LH badge. The box I received was ML3Z-16720-MA. I'm installing these myself so I just grabbed what they gave me and went home. Can somebody confirm the actual parts numbers for 22G05 on an XLT? The service guy was going to go talk to the parts guy to get details, but I'm impatient
Knowing my local dealer, it'll a couple weeks before I get a follow up unless I proactively call them first.

How long did it take for you to get the badges? I inquired about them at the dealership and they said Ford sends them out tied to VIN's, so they can't do anything, and that Ford will probably just send them at some point. I see the CSP myself when I look up my VIN, but I don't know if I need to do anything with the dealership, or if Ford is handling it entirely themselves. Would love to hear your experience!
I received the initial letter from Ford about the badges being available before Christmas, so I stopped into the dealer to get them ordered. Last week, I got another letter directly from Ford indicating that my badges were in and to schedule an appointment with the dealer to have them installed. Stopped into my local dealer and they didn't have them and didn't know when they would be in, so there's clearly some poor communication going on here. Dealer called today and they had them, so I stopped in today to get them. All I was told was that they ordered what they were supposed to based on my VIN, clearly something got screwed up there. Either the box I got was supposed to have two badges in it or the parts guy only ordered one badge by mistake. If I don't hear anything by the weekend, I'll reach out to the dealer next week. I was hoping somebody that works in parts can confirm that the "service kits' do indeed have two badges in the box. I'd hate to wait for the replacement only to find out they ordered the same number and I now have TWO left hand badges...
I've been running with the badges removed for a couple weeks now. I originally took them off to do ceramic coat and decided to just leave them off until the new ones arrived. The blanks that shipped with the truck don't actually fit that well and now that I've compared them to the one proper badge I have, I can see that the blanks are lower quality temporary replacements.

I got the notice from Ford that my badges would be available from my dealer. I'd bought my $80k + truck from Tyler Ford. Tyler Ford's parts manager said he had them in stock, but he would have to "figure out who will pay for them". He never would call me back. Their GM and owner never returned my calls either.
I found myself in Colorado, where the service mgr. at Interstate Ford went out of his way to take care of me while I waited.

Thank you so much for showing me this. Very... interesting.
So, my nephew told me he called the 800# that was on one of the communications - Ford Customer Care Center and they helped coordinate with the dealer to order his missing logos. He said he didnt have to go to the dealership where he got his truck (because my nephew had to drive to Ohio to get it).
Also, apparently if you have other recall stuff that you can't get fixed, they can help you with that too.
Here is the number. Spread the word and let me know if you have any success. (800) 392-3673

I just received my badges for my 2022 Lariat in early March 2023, forgive me that I cannot help with the part numbers but can add some details on my experience with this bad situation...
Retail ordered my 22 Lariat F150 mid Jan 2022, arrived halloween 2022. no badges and was told by dealer it could be 6 months to get them and they didn't know much else.
I then get an email from Ford 12/9/22 talking about the 22G05 program number and to "Contact my dealer" to "order them"
I call the dealer to "order" them as instructed and am told by the parts person that there is not really an order to this program...he found the program number but stated his system says these bases will just be sent out by Ford whenever they have them according to my VIN and the part availability. I gruff and wait
Shortly after that I was at the dealer again in January for a service check on my EPIM for strange behavior and asked again about the badges and was told that Ford Service had to takes pics of the blank badges and submit an "order" for them... so I had them do that
in Early March I get another email from Ford stating the badges have arrived and to call my dealer.
I called and initially was told I needed to have service take pics and order and informed them I'd already done that a couple months ago... after checking more, parts found that my badges HAD in fact arrived and I drove right down
There should be two med size boxes, one badge in each box.
Please note for those wanting to install yourself you "might not" be able to depending on your personal relationship with your dealer because according to my parts and service team, the dealer "MUST" install these badges and I was not supposed to be able to do it myself. I grumbled at this to the initial folks in parts and service helping me when I arrived to pick up the badges... After a quick chat with a few dealer leaders (I've purchased 6 new Fords in the past 4-5 years and have a good personal relationship with several parties in high rank) I was told not to tell anyone and they slipped the boxes in my car and sent me on my way to install them myself.
The level of "disconnect" between the dealer and Ford on this program is sad and keeps us customers angry to say the least. I waited about 10 months for a new truck that was missing parts then another 5 months for the damn badges and along the way cannot get a confident and consistent resolution path for how to get these badges delivered to my local dealer according to the 22G05 email Ford sent customers.
