Default Phone function problems

I am on the latest update 4.2.2.2 and now, the 1st call I make will not go through wher I can hear the person I am calling, but they hear me. It does not ring in my truck or acknowledge the call was answered. If I hang up and call back, it works fine, until...

If I am on a call and put shift to reverse, the sound goes silent and does not comeback even the call stays connectred. I have to switch to the connection to my phone to continue the call.

Anone else have any such issue?

Any idea on a fix?

Hey there. I can look into your F-150’s phone call concerns on my end if you’d like. Will you send us a private message with your VIN and dealership info?

Many people have reported phone connectivity issues after the 4.x.x updates. The only thing I have found to improve the situation is to plug the phone in the USB cord and used the wired connection instead of the wireless option.

I have problems even with the wired connection. I'll make a call it will ring once stay connected but the radio will come back on. I then have to switch it to speaker then back to bluetooth and it works fine. Doesn't matter if I am connected with the wire or not. Usually it's the first phone call I make after starting vehicle, every other call goes thru usually without a problem.

Hello! I'd be happy to take a closer look into your phone call concerns on your F-150 if you'd like. Could you please DM me your VIN and Ford dealer name/location?

Wow. The @Ford Motor Co. account has been very active lately giving people false hopes that they are actually going to do something.

Having the same issues. I also noticed since the update my passenger DRL is partially out. Other forums have suggested is it due to the update. Anyone having that issue?
