some insight - the issues you are experiencing steam from OTA updates, Sync 4 just keeps on sucking on that battery...fix is in progress but will be weeks before it’s out - some will need the whole dash taken apart to replace the head unit, some will need a software update...

I proposed we put the truck in sleep mode sooner to avoid this situation all together but that got shot down since 1-they think deep sleep mode is not working as it should and 2- we are not ready to use OTA
Interesting. I had a theory on mine it might be related as I noticed the Audio Fade control changed since I bought the truck. Should we disable the OTA updates in the interim and does this mean it's really only an issue when it's able to connect to an at home wifi?

Good insight - this sounds like a very reasonable explanation. Certainly hoping the eventual fix is purely in the form of a software update!

I see software updates coming to correct current draw.
it’s actually a pretty common issue with the computers on four wheels.

I have a 2019 Limited, that sat for four months because of COVID, and when I went to start it up. Bam, started right up. I did see the deep sleep mode, and when I started it I drove it to Tulsa & back so the battery got at least a three-hour charge.

I Hope Ford gets this worked out because I could see this being very annoying. But what is worse is having the dealer tell you to drive it every other day or it's your fault it doesn't start.

This makes complete sense why the F150s have been delayed.

My local dealers still only have a few in stock. I physically check every few days because Im waiting to see a Supercab XLT with a column shift and the center console that swings as a work station. I check every day on the internet and even in other states.

I saw new F150s sitting in storage lots around Claycomo for days. They were also driving a slew of trucks down the road to Worlds of Fun for overflow storage. What if they couldnt start from sitting?

Quick update: For the second week in a row, my truck would not start after sitting in my garage Monday - Friday. Upon jump starting it, the instrument cluster display did not turn on and there were lot's of warning chimes going (but I couldn't tell what they were related to because the instrument panel display was "off"). After a short drive and letting the truck sit for about 30 minutes with the engine running, I turned the truck off and started it again. This time the instrument panel display started working again, and it was telling me that the warning alerts were related to a "Park Brake Fault". At this point, I drove it to the local Ford dealer and left it with them. Will post updates as I receive them, but given the recent posts on this forum and the ones on the Gen14 forum, it sounds like this is likely a pretty widespread issue.
