Default Disassemble Mobile Office console desk top?

Can somebody tell me how to remove the bottom cover of the Mobile Office console? The foldout desktop makes a great mini dining table on the road, and while it was opened up for that purpose at Sonic Drive-In my lovely bride turned over her full Cherry LimeAde. We cleaned all the visible surfaces but when I opened the console lid liquid ran out the bottom of the cover from inside. I'd like to take it apart and clean the inside to avoid an ant invasion but not sure how to remove the bottom cover. I thought removing the only visible screw might let it swing up and off but no go. Any experienced help on how to go about removing that bottom cover? Thanks in advance!

I hate to hear that about the Limeade.

I'm gonna guess that it slides down after the screw is removed. It may take some persuasion by tapping on the top. I could be wrong, so don't use more than a 5 pound hammer lol.

With the screw removed I didn't feel any give at all, it can't slide, there's a lip that it will have to be raised over to get it off. I'm guessing it has some sort of trim clips underneath it that you have to pry up but I'm not confident enough to go after it!

Ok, that isn't obvious from the pics. It has to come off though, so I'd say just pull on it. You could also see if you can find that part in a parts schematic to get an idea of what it looks like underneath (maybe).

Use a trim tool to undo the snaps at the bottom/back. The cover will get stuck at the top/front. You will need to push the open latch to retract the locking tabs at the sides so the cover can clear.
