I have this on my 21 Powerboost. Works great. 5 min install.
Does the app part work pretty easily? My last camera used an app as well but it was like a three-step process to get the app turned on and hooked up and then a wait etc, definitely more trouble than it was worth to use the app.
Do you use the secondary, rear camera also?
It looks like this camera doesn't have parking mode without some type of adapter, any idea how that works?
that mounts on the rear view mirror and records to a micro SD chip. There are other with 1 and 2 cameras. I installed with a Rexing hard wire kit directly to the fuse box. I prefer it because i can use a 256/512 GB chip and record for several hours in loop mode, I set it to do 1 minute segments continuously till the chip space is near full before looping back. It records all 3 cameras in the same fashion. I did switch to a universal mirror mount and use the rear cam mounted inside the cab and can aim it down at the bed.
Hard wiring was easy taking about 15 minutes to install and hide the wires. Been in constant use since early spring and I have downloaded several 1 minute videos. The cameras shut down soon as the truck is off. KM
Space … that looks like an interesting device, but i read the reviews and there are a lot of negative comments. Overall poor quality, drains the battery, the mode switch doesn’t do anything. Pass.
I did a hardwire on my Viofo a139 Pro that I just got. It's super easy, just make sure you get the right fuse taps. You don't even have to take the A pillar off, you can tuck everything along the top/a-piller/dash/side panel down to the fuse box. I tapped fuse 2 and 4 for the keyed/constant power. This is for the front camera at least, not sure about running cable to the rear.
Waiting for the mirror wiring for the front camera, got the rear one installed. Wasn’t difficult. It’s behind the headrest so it isn’t visible from inside or outside. You can see it grom the outside if you look closely, but the tinted windows mask it real well. Ran the manufacturers power cord to the cigarette lighter port on the back of the center console and was able to tuck the wires behind trim, so it’s a neat installation.
One thing that bothers me. That power point is hot all the time. Is the camera going to drain the battery?

I am pretty sure all the power points time out after 10 or 15 minutes. So no it should not drain your battery.
Do not know if this is any help, but if you did not buy anything yet consider this option.
This year I added a RexingUSA M3 3-Channel 1080p Mirror Dash Cam that mounts on the rear view mirror and records to a micro SD chip. There are other with 1 and 2 cameras. I went with the Thinkware F200 kit, came with cables, front and rear camera, and the GPS module, I used a fuse tap to provide power from passengers side fuse box
